QUALITY OFFICER & MICROBIOLOGIST
Job Objective:
Using scientific and analytical techniques to monitor and study various microbes that could
affect beverage quality. Ensuring the safety of beverage products by preventing unsafe
microbial contamination during production, thereby guaranteeing that the products are safe for
consumers.
Job Summary:
Responsibilities encompass managing microbiological facilities, advising other departments on
food safety and contamination prevention, overseeing plant hygiene, ensuring regulatory
compliance, monitoring water systems, supporting business and product development with
scientific information and assisting in achieving standards accreditation.
Roles & responsibilities:
Physical & chemical analysis of raw water & treated water.
Responsible for calibration of equipments & Instruments.
Hourly Gas volume testing.
Microbial analysis of RM/PM & FG.
RO Operation (Chemical preparation, Flow monitoring, backwash, etc.)
Colour preparation as per SOP laid down.
Conduct sensory evaluation as per schedule or whenever required.
Conduct training program for production workers.
Record Filling (Micro, WTP & personal hygiene).
Withdraw control sample as per frequency and maintain control sample room.
Responsibility of Personal hygiene activity.
Chemical preparation of WTP.
Responsible for maintaining hygiene of micro lab, analytical lab and overall plant hygiene.
Microbial preparatory work & testing.
Skills required:
➔ Candidate with experience as a Microbiologist in manufacturing industry.
➔ Must have involved in physical and microbiological tests of the product.
➔ At least 6 months experience in similar position and industry.
➔ Good communication skills, report making and presentation ability.
➔ Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to identify critical food safety issues throughout
the production process.
➔ Expert knowledge of quality procedures, quality control, hazard analysis, etc.
Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology, B.Tech. in Food.
Experience: Min. 1 year (in Food or Beverage industry)
